How to Spray Paint

/ Always clean your equipment thoroughly.

/ Be careful with the use of extension leads, joining leads together or using leads with too low an amperage rating may cause your spray gun to overheat and cut-out.

/ To keep overspray to a minimum always keep your gun at 90 degrees and aproximately 30cm from the surface you are spraying.

/ Always carry a basic tool kit and your product manual with you. Our service team will be able to talk you through basic on-site repairs over the phone.

/ Using worn tips is false economy. The quality of the spray finish decreases and the amount of paint used increases in proportion to the amount of wear on the tip. Tip life will decrease according to the abrassivness of the paint.

/ Carry a range of basic spare parts, especially seals, with you to the job. Again, our service team will be able to instruct you on how to replace these items over the phone if you have the parts and tools with you.

/ Only ever thin paints to the manufacturers specifications.

/ Use the right tip and filter system for the paint and job at hand.
